Retirement Workshop

The FA hosts an annual retirement workshop and/or a financial skills workshop called From Hire to Retire.

The fall 2023 workshop, co-sponsored by the FA and Guild, was held on Friday, October 6, in the Montauk Point Room. 

We know that our members are incredibly busy and appreciate the financial counseling program available through the Benefit Fund as well as the good work of our presenters at the annual retirement workshop. Below are the PowerPoint materials presented by each of the following:

For our workshops, please note: 

• Only dues-paying members may participate
• If held via Zoom, we will have a waiting room set up, and participants will be muted upon entry to limit background noise.  Please be in a quiet space during each speaker's presentation to avoid distractions. There will be time for questions at the end, so have paper and pen handy to jot down your questions during the presentations
• For longer, more involved questions, participants will be asked to speak with the appropriate presenter(s) one on one after the retirement workshop; contact info will be provided.
