Salary and Pay
Another core contractual protection the FA offers its members is, of course, salary and pay. Sometimes during new member orientations, new hires will say things to us that intimate a perception that their SCCC salary or pay is being brought to them from administration. We are quick to note that all salary and pay scales at this institution are the result of serious negotiations processes between the administration and the FA. We firmly believe that, without the FA's work over the years in contract negotiations, our pay would certainly be less than what is today.
