FA Thanksgiving Donations

As noted in our mission and vision page, one of our core objectives as an academic union is to foster educational excellence. 

We also are well aware of the extremely high cost of living on Long Island, that food instability is a growing problem across Suffolk County, that students on our campuses are not immune to these social forces—and that it's really hard to focus on your studies when you're feeling hungry. 

That's why, for decades, the FA has donated money to campus food pantries to better ensure that our students have enough to eat. 

Each fall, we donate $400 to each of the three campus food pantries, to help keep them stocked and to show our gratitude and appreciation to all those students who work hard but sometimes need a bit of extra assistance as they proceed along their educational journeys.
