Please join the FA in congratulating our adjunct and full-time faculty who have recently been notified that they have earned their promotion in rank! This is a wonderful way to wind down the academic year, and our colleagues will join us in September 2025 with their new rank in place. Job well done!

The promotion process is currently underway for those adjuncts who have applied this semester and has just begun for our full-time faculty.

The cover sheet of the application, or A Form, is due May 15 for full-time faculty and it signals the faculty member’s intent to apply. If you are eligible (having met time-in-rank and educational requirements) and you are even considering applying, be sure to get that cover page in. You can always reconsider if, when putting together your full application, you decide you are not ready. You cannot, however, decide after May 15 to apply if your cover page is not in.

As always, I am happy to help with draft copies of completed applications; those are due by June 16 so if you have anything you’d like me to look at please forward it on as soon as possible.

Our promotions guidebook is available on our FA website, and will be a very useful resource to anyone applying or thinking about applying in the future. It’s never too early to start preparing!

Again, congratulations to our successful candidates listed above and please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding promotion.
