Monday, April 4
Priority registration begins

• Announce priority registration in your classes and to all of the students you see in your offices and workspaces. Also, classroom faculty need to serve their contractual eight hours of advisement in their campus Academic Advisement & Mentoring Center or post their hours on their office door and notify the appropriate administrator of their available advisement hours.

Friday, April 8, 10 am
Inauguration of SCCC President Dr. Edward Bonahue

• Be sure to RSVP and indicate whether you'll be wearing your regalia this Friday.

Thursday, April 21, 6 pm
FA/Guild Spring Fling: Retiree and Member Awards Recognition Celebration

• Taking place at Bellport Country Club, this celebration costs $20 per person. Contact Anita to RSVP by email or phone (631-451-4151). Join us as we celebrate our 2nd annual FA Member Excellence Award recipients:

FA Retirement Workshop

• This year's retirement workshop will take place via Zoom again for the safety and convenience of everyone involved. Watch for a forthcoming email from Cynthia Eaton with registration information.

Saturday, May 14, 12 noon
May Day Festival sponsored by Suffolk AME

• This year's music festival takes place again at Brookhaven County Park, and the band lineup includes the Spin Doctors, Smithereens, Crash Test Dummies and more. Contact Anita for information about tickets (children 12 and under are free).

Thursday, May 19
Commmencement

• The college will host Commencement on Thursday, May 19, and the FA encourages all members to participate to help honor and celebrate the achievements of our graduates who have been through so much.
  
  There will be two ceremonies, at 9 am and at 1 pm, and if both exceed capacity, the college will add a third ceremony at 5 pm. Watch for a forthcoming email so you can RSVP for the ceremony of your choice.
