Spring elections: Call for nominations for FA officers, delegates and EC reps

Donna Krompinger, Acting Elections Chair

  Post-It notepad with

Nominations are due on February 28, 2025, for the FA officers, delegates and EC reps whose terms are expiring.

As you know, every spring the FA holds elections for half of the positions on the Executive Council in accordance with our Elections Procedures. During odd-numbered years, the spring election also includes the six officers and our three delegates to the AFT and NYSUT representative assemblies.

In keeping with FA Elections Procedures, I have been designated as the acting committee chair because FA Secretary Cynthia Eaton will be seeking re-election. Below are the nomination form, the timeline for this spring’s elections and a list of the officer, delegate and EC rep positions up for election.

Nomination form

Only dues-paying FA members in good standing can make nominations or serve in these leadership positions; contact Anita in the FA office if you would like to register as a member in good standing so you can participate in this election cycle and enjoy all the other benefits of membership.

You must submit your nomination using the official Spring 2025 nominations form.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Nominations submitted without using this official form will be disregarded.
