Mandatory online training for all employees: The college has contracted with Workplace Answers to provide online employee training in various subject areas, such as unlawful discrimination, sexual harassment, workplace violence, bullying and FERPA and OSHA compliance. All college employees, both full- and part-time, are required to take the training over the course of three semesters, beginning this semester and concluding in spring 2015. The first email from Workplace Answers will instruct you to register for your first two courses, “Unlawful Harassment Prevention for Higher Education” and “Title IX Awareness and Violence Prevention for Higher Education.” You must complete these courses by June 1, 2014. It is the college’s?and the FA’s?hope that these educational programs will help raise awareness so we can have a safer, more respectful, and more collegial workplace.
