Over 200 members of SCCC's extended family came together on Friday, December 5, to dine, dance and revel in the holiday spirit during the FA/Guild holiday party. Kicking off the festivities, attendees gave a standing ovation to retiree Norman West for his 50 years of service to the college. Unable to attend but still celebrated were our other retirees this year: in the FA Margaret "Peggy" Fallon, Bernard Frank, Debra Klein, Maridee Miller, Richard Mizdal and Reynold Welch as well as Jeffrey Lang and
Another attendee who went home especially happy was Tim Keiley, the winner of the $840 50/50 raffle proceeds. Perennial favorite band Studio G kept dance floor hopping while faculty, administrators and their loved ones shared a fine meal from Villa Lombardi's. The FA greatly appreciates the work of our office manager Anita Greifenstein, who organized another wonderful holiday party this year.
Gratitude is also due to the volunteers who made everything possible this year: Alexander Atwood, Anne Baldwin, Suzanne Barretto-Wansor, Michele Gentile, Richard Lauria, Susan Orlando, Ed Roldan, Bruce Seger, Deborah & Bill Wolfson, Joshua Wolfson and Jane-Marie Wright. The FA thanks the following groups and organizations for their generous donations for our raffle: Buchbinder Tunick & Company LLP, Daniel H. Cook Associates, General Vision, Jane Shearer, Mirkin & Gordon, Stacey Braun Associates and Jeffrey I. Zwillinger, D.D.S., P.C.
