Cynthia Eaton
One of the many benefits of union membership is the ability to share information and ideas about economic security for ourselves and our families and, by extension, for Long Island and the state. This year's Financial and Retirement Planning Workshop will be held on Friday, April 13, from 9 to 1, in the Eaton's Neck Room, and participants are welcome to attend one or both of the following sessions:
Perennial favorite Gerry McGahran, a Stacey Braun certified financial planner, will be the presenter. Topics to be addressed include Teachers Retirement System and Social Security. The presenter will again share the popular checklist of things to do and things to consider before retiring. General financial planning advice, e.g., about investments, cash flow, debt, insurance, education funding, taxes and medical benefits, will be covered as well. |
