Carl Coulanges, above, of the communication, radio, and TV department, has launched a faculty profile video series for the FA to help members get and stay connected with one another. Contact Carl with questions or feedback.

Faculty members across our three campuses are accomplishing tremendous feats.

The best way to learn about who they are and the good work they do is to watch our new video series called Faculty Profiles.

The FA understands that solidarity comes from knowing and supporting our sisters and brothers in the union, and given the size and complexity of the college, we offer this video series as a way to help us get and stay connected with one another.

The Faculty Profiles video feature opens the door into each individual's profession, personality and a little about their life. Three are posted as of this writing:

  • In Episode 1, Assistant Professor of Library Services Fabio Montella gives us an in-depth perspective to our library and what it takes to be a librarian. Also, Montella wants people to know, "Books are still a valuable part of research and education in general."

  • In Episode 2, Instructional Technology Trainer Christina Johnston-Eustace explains her path to becoming an IT trainer, what that entails on a daily basis and why she values the FA.

  • In Episode 3, Kathleen Flynn-Bisson, PA in the addiction studies department, helps train students to be substance abuse counselors, which we know are sorely in need at this time. She's also the grant coordinator for the prevention program.

To watch the above faculty profiles—as well as the profiles to come—subscribe to the FA YouTube channel.

And if you're not already doing so, you'll also want to like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram and/or follow us on Twitter, so you won't miss a video and can better stay in the know.
